A Year Abroad

Fulbright & Global

In 2025 I received a Fulbright U.S. Student Program research award to spend a year at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich. The grant supports my methods research; the rest of the year is about building bridges across classrooms, countries, and communities.

The Research

Analysis Strategies for Robust Results

As principal investigator on the Fulbright award, I work on the analytic choices behind robust research results, hosted in the Statistical Consulting Unit (StaBLab) at the LMU Institute of Statistics with Professor Sabine Hoffmann, as part of the STRengthening Analytical Thinking for Observational Studies (STRATOS) initiative. The award also carried a Germanistic Society of America Quadrille Ball Fellowship, and a nomination to the 2026 Fulbright Seminar on the European Union and NATO in Brussels.
